Addressing the UK's energy and waste strategies for low carbon emissions
Onsite Energy from Waste & CHP systems provide substantial cost savings whilst lowering carbon emissions and helping to sustain the environment
End of life use for wastes is changing and businesses need to evolve to keep up with legislation and rising costs, by implementing your own onsite EfW plant with CHP you can boost profit and avoid increasing disposal costs.

RDF Industry Leaders in Combustion

Design, construction and installation of our advanced systems, we are a leader in the field. Our expertise focuses on the technological development of the processing of waste streams and the supply of EfW and CHP systems for renewable energy from waste

Quality Guaranteed

We have a strong focus on research and development of technology for practical applications in Waste to Energy. Our  combustion technology is proven, reliable and flexible in applicable fuels: such as moisture contents ranging from 10% to 55%

High Expectations

Our activities focus on the development of waste-to-energy systems for the processing of multiple wastes and biomass flows. Sustainable generation of energy with extensive experience in implementing and operating waste combustion plants.

01  Activities

We are working with waste management, transfer stations and processing companies to address current and future  uses of waste to deliver solutions that increase profits and reduce emissions.

02 Services

From consultancy at the concept stage to pre-planning, full planning and permitting. We provide the "BAT" principle with proven technologies to devise, install and deliver reliable and long term operations.

03 Objectives

By reducing carbon emissions with EA compliant technologies we are assisting with cutting the impact on climate change through effective deployment of waste and biomass end of life solutions.

November 2019.
4Gen are providing planning and development services for multiple EfW projects, 15,000, 50,000 and a 130,000 tonne per annum RDF plants in the UK.
We have assited with planning and provided technology partners with funders for each development.
April 2020:
Landfill costs are rising again, act now!
Energy from Waste can generate Power and Profit from your existing waste stream
Policy changes will eventually close landfill, by being progressive and ahead of the competition you can improve returns and lower your carbon footprint.

:RPS 207
Businesses with a ‘Part B permit’ that are operating out of a recycling centre not being able to prove the provenance of the wood, will no longer be able to burn ‘Grade A or B waste.
Grade A (from mixed waste wood such as civic amenity sites), and Grade B waste wood will now be classified as Grade C Waste Wood.
Incineration Chlorine limits:
EA & SEPA state: If waste is not classified as hazardous, then the halogenated content is not considered and does not effect regulations.
Our technology can burn >1% total chlorine content in waste, others only cope with >0.5% total chlorine content. Test your waste, contact us to discuss.
